That’s why I’m more on the side of “you shouldn’t have kids without thinking things completely through”. Too many people out there have kids out of religious obligation or just to have an accessory without thinking tog the long term impacts of having one

also, just because you shouldnt do something doesn’t mean you can. you can do whatever you want, but if your actions harm others (ie your children) then yeah you’re gonna be shamed

Exactly. Let’s take the Jenkins family from TikTok for example. They had six kids and were living in a one bedroom apartment with the kids sleeping on foam mats in the living room and the mom still posted a video saying her bf would give her another baby if she reached a certain number of likes. She clearly can have kids but the entire internet was shaming her for appearing to do nothing to improve the situation while leaving the kids in a cramped and unsustainable environment.
