I work at a summer camp and the rules require life jackets in the lake and I had a 15 year old boy (one of our lifeguards) trying in vain to get any life jacket to fit while awkwardly attempting to not touch or look at the problem causing it to not fit, I saved him the embarrassment and walked over to other lifeguard (woman) and showed her it was as tight as it could go and it still was going to slip because my chest blocked it from tightening in the right spots. She said to just go anyway

I felt so bad for him, he was just trying to do his job to check all the jackets, he didn’t mean to get roped into the situation, normally I either go to one of the women or the one gay one that doesn’t care and asked me if I wanted him to bring some tape next time so I wouldn’t have to deal with them lmao (I am nonbinary and he knows it)
