i recently turned 20 so i realize im not a teen anymore and there are ppl closer to “barely legal” but i still get so uncomfortable when i find that there are guys 34+ that find my age attractive :/ i even had a 30 yo tell me that he liked me and how naive and innocent i was since im 20. but then ppl make me feel stupid when they say “you’re an adult, age doesn’t matter anymore” so i just shut up.
ok so like im a girl who met bf at 17 and he is 16 and now im 18 and hes not 17 until may, my friend said that the age gap is "weird" but shes gonna be 19 with a 21 year old bf with literally a month or so less of an age gap, so like idk if i am weird or shes just a hypocrite bc im dating someone younger than me
100%. It’s dominance, power, and control. The fetishization of youth has to main aspects imo - aesthetics and power. I can’t argue with what aesthetics they’re attracted (like I can think it’s creepy but I can’t argue) BUT if someone is older, more experienced, and more mature, they almost definitely have more power.
I’m aware of the concept of a cougar but I’ve literally never encountered one so idk how I’d have a take on that. Women fetishizing younger men isn’t a widespread cultural concept. Open any porn site and you’ll see a million videos describing the woman as 18 or a teenager but I’ve never once noticed a video highlighting the youth of a man
