I wouldn't say it's overall intelligence just self awareness and knowing what you can provide your kid.

This is gonna get me attacked but I genuinely view myself and others who don’t want kids as more intelligent than most (notice how I didn’t say ALL) people who say they want kids. I think the majority don’t fully think it through.
