Unpopular Opinion: parents should encourage dating at a young age. My parents pretty much made talking to men illegal and now idk how to talk to them and all the ones I like already have girlfriends.

AND stop assuming every boy your daughter talks to either has a crush on her or that she has a crush on him. My parents do this every single time to this day and it’s so annoying. Like I just wanna have friends okay?? Stop making it weird

it used to be in middle school that if you were friends with a guy you were dating but my little cousin is in 3rd grade and my aunt will mention he’s dating someone??? he’s 8
