dr: “are you sexually active” me: “no” dr: “have you had sex in the past” me: “no” dr: “you NEVER had sex before…” me: “nope” god forbid a girl is still a virgin at 21 apparently it’s the end of the world for doctors. this was just a yearly checkup too.

real interaction i had: “is there any chance you could be pregnant?” “no” “well when was your last period?” “i’m on it right now. i don’t want to pee in a cup” “ok well you have to take a pregnancy test or i’m not treating you”

mind you i have actual trauma with pee in cup tests and this was the first time i was forced to do one since i was like 17. i cried after 😭
