this could be because the definition of being ‘sexually active’ varies from practice to practice— my last gyno doctor considered anyone who had ever had penetrative hetero sex sexually active, while the one i currently go to also counts oral lesbian sex but only considers you sexually active if you’ve done it in the past year.

And I get that, because a lot of doctors will want to know your past history. Usually doctors ask me are you sexually active, and I say no. They say have you ever been sexually active? And I say no, I have never been sexually active. But it’s happened several times where they go on after that so you’ve NEVER had sex? Correct again doc, thanks for that lmao
