i think the difference is billie isn’t known for crazy expensive and extra tours like swift is. seeing billie eilish 50 times probably cost the same amount as seeing the eras tour even twice depending on the ticket

that’s expensive but it’s not eras tour expensive. people were paying thousands of dollars for just one nosebleed ticket! scalpers see that and jack up the prices because they know somebody somewhere WILL buy the outrageously expensive ticket, so when people buy them in multiple cities, it jacks up the prices for other cities too. it’s like ofc nyc tickets are going to be more expensive than st louis tickets, but people paying for 3k+ dollar tickets in nyc AND st louis will make st louis prices

skyrocket too, and it’s a lower cost of living city; the people who live there won’t be able to afford it over someone from a different city who contributed to the price gouging.
