I don’t hate swifties. But can we talk about how some girls attended the eras tour like FOUR times?! I’m sorry but that is some high level greed and audacity

I’ll be honest, I don’t really care about swifties unless that’s all they talk about and I’ve gotta deal with them in real life, in class or something like that. Also, I admit I have seen an artist twice on the same tour. When I was traveling with my bf and some family around the UK in 2023 he and I saw The Struts perform twice in the Remember The Name tour, since tickets were pretty cheap (£20, standing room at a small venue that’s mostly standing so you’re right on the floor in the action!)

they’re super expensive and a dream of many fans but they sell out super fast and are really hard to get, so by going so many times they’re taking away opportunities from people who have never gone

it was crazy expensive. like so crazy expensive you can’t comprehend, then to have to travel just to see it AND seeing it multiple times???? the same people doing that complain about being broke or having poor money management

You guys just sound jealous and resentful tbh. The issue is with platforms like Ticketmaster and corporate greed, not with a very small % of fans. 💀

Exactly. They were known to be super hard to get and lot of rich fans were going like 4 times even to other states! It’s entirely just self centered and also unnecessary. I get maybe going twice. But like 3 or 5 times is absolutely selfish and weird. It would make me feel like I was robbing another fan of being able to enjoy it as well

Ticket master is a problem yeah. But I can make two complaints at once. We aren’t talking about ticket master scalping we are talking about fans going to a concert like 4 times

These people are not robbing anyone…that is a reach. Most eras tour tickets I know were bought from a lottery or resellers. It’s not selfish to spend your own hard earned money on tickets. Anyone can buy a ticket who has the money to do so.

Yeah the issue is definitely not people going to multiple concerts. Isn’t it like over 50% of tickets are bought by resale companies? No one has a chance bruh

Literally. This reminds me of posts I’ve seen before about people blaming girls for buying too many clothes in certain sizes and it preventing other girls from having clothes. As though this isn’t a supply chain issue and as though they aren’t paying their own hard earned money for the same clothes. 💀

I’m not saying that it’s the main issue. I’m not talking about ticket master scalping (which they are currently being sued for after what happened w Ariana grandes recent sale) I’m talking about a completely different topic

Right!!! So their behavior of buying multiple price gouged tickets in multiple cities reinforces the scalpers behavior. You were so close 😭 We know buying multiple tickets isn’t the problem. We are aware scalpers and resellers are making it difficult. But it’s the people who buy the tickets who are making the problem worse - scalpers know SOME idiot will pay far more than the ticket is actually worth, and it drives the competition from the average consumer to the ultra wealthy consumer, so

Babe, scalpers will scalp regardless of the tiny handful of people who can afford multiple tour stops. Scalpers won’t stop until scalping is outlawed on these platforms. Stop blaming a minuscule amount of people for spending their own money when they aren’t the problem. Most people who buy from scalpers only go to one show.

Idk i guess I’ll say I’m not the target audience for her just from what I’ve seen. sure there’s production value put into her shows but I feel like she herself severely lacks in stage presence and for me the music quality just doesn’t make up for it. Kpop seems to have good performance elements/production as well as choreo and presence

I might’ve misspoke on what I meant by saying “greedy” I just have like a perspective on how I personally view things and i typically put fairness over that. Like best way I can explain where that feeling comes from (not saying the situations are alike) but when a teacher would call students to do something in the classroom and more students got picked out of favoritism or their stick got pulled too many times. It’s like that part of that weird gut feeling.

Don’t forget that before her like, 10 year old daughter, was saying “is trump dead? is Elon musk dead? Is * third person who I forgot* dead?” You can have whatever political views you want, and I’m no Trumpy. But for a kid to be saying stuff like that is wilddddd

YES im so glad someone brought this up. Aside from the weird “best friend” delusion from the mother, the fact that she thought it was comical that her kids were excited over someone potentially being dead is so disgusting. She just dismissed it and still posted the video thinking that it was a cute look. I can’t even imagine how she speaks around her kids on a daily basis for them to be saying those things so casually.

No that is just idiotic. You shouldn’t just buy in excess just cuz you can. Like if you don’t need a certain size, one you are wasting your own money, and two the clothes is probably just gonna turn into waste in the middle of an ocean

unfortunately 10 year olds are deeply affected by politics. pedophiles, school shootings, little black kids getting murdered, trans kids getting murdered… i would love if we lived in a world where they didn’t need to worry about them but that’s just not the case

We don’t live in the same world we used to. Children are exposed to politics from a young age via the internet. Ten year olds know way more about politics than you or I probably did at 10. There’s definitely pros and cons.

The problem is that we will literally around dogging on girls for buying 6 Stanley cups in multiple colors with keychains for each one and every season. But then just go “it their money” when someone sees a concert seven times, buying outfits probably off of a fast fashion site (SHEIN) only to be worn once and thrown away down the line. It’s just hypocritical mindsets.
