idk if there should be a line drawn when the baby is in the womb tbh and i simply say that because sometimes women who have a miscarriage much later during their pregnancy need to have an abortion or go through a still birth for their own safety 🤷♀️ so to me its always been a human, cause its still a human fetus, but at no point should abortion be seen as morally wrong cause its a case by case type of deal 🤌
Secular humanism would say that a fetus gains moral consideration when it has the capability of sentience with the necessary brain structures - which is typically 24 weeks. at that point, an abortion is oftentimes just induction of labor. there’s too many people who assume abortions automatically mean killing the fetus when that’s not true, it’s just terminating the pregnancy.
