Im about as anti gen-ai as they come and even i know this is stupid. Banned how? How would any of this be enforced? How is ai even being defined? A calculator is technically ai, as are bird call ID apps, etc. what are the penalties? This is just karmafarming lol

AI is such a meaningless term right now. Predictive data processing can be incredibly useful in the right fields (medicine especially). Gen ai (to make movies, animations, whatever) is stupid, yes. But even then, the answer isnt “ban it!!1!2!!2” its to make it heavily regulated. We already do this with every other form of tech, idk why people have so much trouble treating ai the same way. Its literally just predictive data processing.
