That’s not what I said, but consider this: we wouldn’t have mass literacy if the printing press was never invented. Food and medicine were distributed across the globe using railroads, which stemmed from the steam engine being invented. The discovery of electricity led to SO MANY different things. When the Transistor was invented it lead to computers, and then the internet.

AI is in the infancy of its life, It has the capability to improve the quality of life for sooooo many that banning it now would be cutting our legs off before we learned to walk.

it is destroying the environment with massive data centers that use excessive amounts of land, water, and electricity, it spreads misinformation, it tells suicidal teenagers to kill themselves, it steals from artists, and studies have shown it is genuinely making people stupider so yes there are more negative drawbacks than positive

We should also stop Nestle from doing that. I don’t think anyone is pro nestle and anti AI.
