I really don’t think that OP is pro ai, dude. I think they’re just pointing out that the beef industry is also very destructive, more so even. I think they’ve (correctly) identified that a lot of the data center pushback is NIMBYism, rather than actual environmentalism

Yeah that was my point I’m not pro ai I’m saying that if we want to make any kind of real impact we need to be also focusing on the meat industry because that’s one of the few things we can actually change by changing our own habits.

One person’s habits don’t really change much about an industry, and I say this as a vegetarian. It’s our societal habits we need to change, if we want to make an impact, that and holding corporations accountable (100 companies cause 70% of emissions, or however that statistic goes)
