I’m in multiple gcs on snap that I don’t check. Not right to throw a bunch of people under the bus for not being aware of something

I’m in so many group chats that I never look at. Sure some of them saw it and did nothing but I imagine there are a bunch that just never look at it

Maybe we need less group chats? Because I check mine at least 2-3 times a day, especially several messages are coming in. To me, that’s not the best excuse, however, I guess the answers are in the metadata of who saw what messages and when. The timestamps of it all and who legitimately never saw them at all until the unfortunate after the fact. And also consider if/when those people had contact in person or other forms of media outside of Snapchat that entire day.

Yeah I had my gc muted, and only opened it to clear messages notifications back when I was active in my sorority. Especially since formal communication was done through a separate app. Snapchat feels like it enables trashy and criminal behaviors.

exactly, too many group chats. sometimes I get suggestions for chat summaries but I don’t always use them because it’s AI. there just has to be more personal accountable for mechanisms installed to automatically flag messages and sent alerts to heads of the org/ group, etc.

I just want to see proof in the metadata. Who legitimately did and didn’t see what messages and when.
