Okay, maybe my bad "Jane Doe’s sworn statement in November of 2024 did not allege that she was drugged against her will or gang raped. On the contrary, Jane Doe’s statement described her participation in drug use and sexual conduct as voluntary, conscious, and consensual. My office obviously did not and could not have based our November 2024 decision on the allegations in a civil lawsuit that would not be filed until nearly two years later"

Agreed, but they didn't drug her. She stated in her testimony she took those drugs willingly and under NO duress. She said they didn't force her to take drugs, OR have sex with them. She was a willing participant in both. Literally just read the pdf I linked, this story is legally complicated. The boys are disgusting though

My campus is a dry campus so it's boring over here and it's SUPER small, so the drama on school is our schools yak is 80% greek life by poll. The chapters are posting about the other chapters 24/7 and apparently it's to get the other kicked off campus. So they are always trying to make the other look awful

I mean the reading from the case ITSELF has the lawyer say it's a difficult and complicated case... but also, you're infantizing her. you can plan to drink and have sex with a partner beforehand, you can discuss it and willingly and consciously have planned it, which is exactly what she stated she did. I haven't read the new information but to say the case isn't complicated when the lawyers themselves working on it do is just a bit disingenuous. You're also confusing consent laws😅
