This gives me hope as a 25 year old who settled for a civil service IT position at her Alma mater and is now going back to school to get her love of CS back… and I had honors both times I graduated HS and Uni! Your mentality and self confidence are everything. Ego can get in the way sometimes, but I’m impressed you seemed to find a balance so early in your schooling and career <3 SO SO SO SO PROUD OF YOU!!!! CONGRATS!!! 🎊🎉🍾

You think I haven’t? I have countless applications, great gpa and grades, genuinely feel I’m ahead of my peers in class, put in extra effort to learn things not in class and I’m a junior. I’ve had maybe 2 interviews that didn’t amount to anything. Yes. I would call it extremely lucky to find a position as a freshman when most internships are geared towards juniors, sometimes sophomores.
