Everything I could, 3.8-4.0 GPA, in depth project and or projects. Leadership, good measurable in your entire resume, and apply to targeted roles. Obviously being super young you won’t even have much time to build an upperclassmen level resume, but make up for it in your soft skills or anyway you can.

oh yeah i meant more like where did you look/find the internship and what general field is it (SWE, data analytics, cybersecurity, chip manufacturing, superconductors, etc.) sorry lolol i shoulda clarified 😅 i’m a junior at a T20 with a 3.8 and those job sites tend to be hella scams so basically ig i just wanna know where you looked

Ahh my bad lol, but yeah I looked on handshake, linkedin and honestly just the general internet. The field was a lot more mix of CS + soft skills, product management, team collab things like that. I had to utilize and highlight my strengths so. A lot of PM TPM roles solutions engineering, technical customer service internships. If i had to rank i’d say Handhake 1. Linkedin 2. depending on your profile and general company career sites 3. W T20 though, i hope to transfer to gtech soon

CAREER FAIRS, insanelyyy good. If your soft skills are above average then you will 100% stand out (some of the CS stereotypes are real…) also taking in account your at a T20 you should have some amazing career fairs.

oof sadly within like two days of having linkedin, i tried to apply to something, got scammed or data leak or something similar, and then linkedin locked me outta my account lolol. and then with handshake it’s been scammer left and right. as for career fairs, been to a couple, almost got an awesome job, and then they gave it to someone else at the last minute right before i could actually submit my resume. basically i keep getting screwed over. but congrats on your internship!

Yeah, did my resume start of fall semester and just updated it accordingly and have 1-2 side projects with some other things.

I had that same issue with linkedin for whatever reason they made me re verify with my ID like 4 different times. After I started putting info on my account though it stopped. That sucks with the career fair thing though, and that’s something I noticed it’s like by the time companies attend career fairs they only have like very very very limited headcount for whatever reason lol.Thank you, and keep grinding bro even though i’m only a freshman I failed so much before I got this win! your up next

oof yeah i hate linkedin thinking they’re entitled to such personal information. i think if i start a new account it’ll be with a new email. it sucks too that they have effectively no customer service or support nor explanations for why you get locked out. it’s so stupid bro.
