tbh i got really lucky. i was originally laid off from amazon, where for there, it’s 90 days to get a new position after getting laid off before being officially separated from the company. i fortunately was able to get in touch with a manager that i had as an intern right at the end of the 90 days, interview, then get the internal transfer offer
