I mean what else do you want them to do, they put their foot down and said “no he’s no playing next year” and the kid lawyered up and the courts made them let him play They aren’t useless, they just can’t defy court rulings
With Sorsby being granted eligibility for the upcoming season the NCAA has once again proved to be a useless organization

They’re useless because they keep getting stuffed in a locked by lawsuits. These guys are a damn shit show that can’t enforce anything.

They are useless lol. They spent so long denying that players were employees that they never actually put a fail safe in to prepare for that inevitable reality. Hell they still think NIL should be illegal. Due to that they have lost lawsuit after lawsuit after lawsuit losing all power. Anyone with foresight could have prevented this a decade ago.

They often aren’t “losing” lawsuits, they’re having injunctions placed for the persecuting parties. They actually win about two thirds of their cases. The big issue is injunctions don’t need undeniable evidence, all a player or agent needs to prove is that they’ll have financial harm if they can’t play (which is obviously true, and therefore they always get them)

Losing lol. College players should be employees having an issue with the 13th amendment for so long is an issue. The ncaa must die
