Can’t tell what’s more insane, Mizzou in the big ten or Northwestern in the big east 😂

They’re both good cultural fits for where they ended up though. Missouri is definitely better in the Big 10 than the SEC 🤷‍♂️

1) Mizzou should 1000% be in the big 12, SEC/BIG10 could be debated but cmon. 2) Northwestern is literally an original big ten member in the Midwest’s biggest/cultural center are you insane they belong nowhere except the big ten.

Columbia, Missouri is the Midwest, there’s immediate rivalry potential with Iowa and Illinois, and most of those Big 12 rivalries they had haven’t been played in nearly 15 years. Their best rivalry with Kansas could be protected as an annual non-conference rival. Also to make all of the conferences and their divisions balance out someone had to go from the Big 12 and I felt like Missouri was the best candidate.

Northwestern I understand and I think that’s my most out there choice, but it has a completely different culture from the rest of the conference which is largely state flagship schools in college towns across the Midwest. Northwestern isn’t even a public school. It’s just like Vandy in the SEC. Northwestern fits a very similar profile to Louisville, Pitt, Cincinnati, etc.

If you think Columbia Missouri is the Midwest you’ve never actually been to the Midwest. It is way closer to the Deep South culturally than Minnesota/Wisconsin/Michigan. Mizzou should be playing big 12 teams like Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, ou, and Colorado.

The only parts of Missouri that are the South are the Ozarks and the Bootheel. You’ve never been to the South if you think Columbia is “the Deep South.” Missouri shares far more culturally with Illinois than Texas or Colorado, even Oklahoma. Like I said they could still play Kansas annually even if they were in the B10

I didn’t say it’s the Deep South, but it’s way closer to the Deep South than it is to the Midwest. And Mizzou used to be in the big 12/8. That’s why they should be in a conference with Colorado/texas/oklahoma. You need to study some cfb history my boy.

I know they were in the Big 12/8. I chosen a different path. On Knowrivalry which has done thousands of surveys to gather data about college football rivalries these are the only rivalries Mizzou fans put points on. Clearly they don’t care as much about Colorado, Texas, etc.
