I’m so sick of people censoring everything. “Grape, schmurder , unalive, pewpew” You just make the whole thing seem like a joke with your baby words, and expect to be taken serious.

I will forever hold the idea that books don’t have to be woke. It’s okay for books to use slurs and have a rape scene, etc if it furthers the plot. These are real things that happen and it doesn’t mean the author is supporting it. We shouldn’t ignore-

People aren’t doing that because they are uncomfortable with the words. They’re doing it because social media would delete or flag comments with those words. You expect to be taken seriously with this take, while not understanding the reason people utilize these alternatives.
