I’ve been reading fanfic since 2012 and could barely finish this book. It was dogshit. The writing was atrocious and so disjointed. Kept being told it was an “epic fantasy” and was like “it had crack in the pages” yeah. It was like bear spray… ts was so ass.

I get being bored and kinda invested in what happens when there’s a book w so much world building included but also I can’t imagine anyone unironically enjoying this otherwise 😭

I’ve enjoyed bad books before too. I loved acotar when I read it (to be fair that was years ago and I read a lot since then, the writing also wasn’t that good). But holy cow I was baffled, I honestly think FW was ai generated or written by a group of corporate suits and they just needed a writer to slap a face on it.
