Why would any man date a stripper?
Found out that the girl I have a crush on is a stripper after our first date. What’s the best way to be respectful to her?

Because being a stripper doesn’t mean you don’t deserve love

I would date a stripper if we had similar interests, life goals and made each other laugh.

Why as a woman would you throw away your self respect and have a job like that?

Bc they want to. Idk you don’t have to if you don’t want to some ppl just have that preference or genuinely don’t care. Same with women

It doesn’t. No self respecting man is going to date someone who strips for other men.

So do models who run around in underwear not deserve to date, or even nude artistic models, actresses that do nude scenes or sex scenes? Any type of job where your body is out there just get fucked huh

Ngl those careers are a lot more prestigious than being a stripper. I support women who are in those fields, yall do what yall need to do to make money yk? But at the end of the day when I’m looking for a wife I’m steering clear from women that are in the sex industry. It’s not attractive to the majority of us men

You can say it’s more prestigious and that’s fine I’m more just getting to the heart of the principle which is that when ppl say that it’s usually not about the fake we either get into our underwear or naked. If anything if we were doing it for a larger audience it would be more celebrated. Sidney Sweeney has been seen by more men than will ever see me and plenty would beg to put a ring on it.

Sometimes people really need the money. As a women I don’t see being a stripper as anything to be ashamed of, as long as she’s comfortable with it. At the end of the day she has to pay rent. I don’t see why you have to be so judgemental towards someone just trying to make a living

The sex worker industry is objectifying either way. Everyone knows that. Ofc you need a check but that doesn’t change that the industry is harmful and some likely won’t be attracted to that

Then shame the industry not the worker. If you don’t want to date someone in that industry that’s fine. But don’t treat them as less than just because they work for that industry

I wouldn’t but I’m not going to subject myself to the industry objectifying me regardless of how rough money gets idc if I have $10 in my bank account and the men have the right to do so

Well the right to not want to date anyone in the sex industry including OF models. Bc those are “just jobs to get paid too”. But some ppl prefer it in a moral compass/ethical way. No judgement it’s just the principle. Everyone deserves love just not from everyone bc they won’t give it to you

That’s completely fine. Not everyone is comfortable being a stripper and that’s okay. It’s when people become judgemental and have a “holier than thou” mentality towards people in the industry that is a problem or if the woman is being forced into it

Most men are exploiting and funding those women who you deem unworthy of “wifey material”

Same reason why people enlist in the military. Or work in fast food. Or spend all day wiping asses, shoveling shit, or smiling at disrespectful customers and bosses. Money. Survival. I’d never work at McDonald’s, but I’m also not so self-absorbed as to mistake my own lack of respect for the industry for a fry-cook’s lack of respect for themselves.

This is why you are single, man. If this is how you talk about a woman because of her job you are not lonely enough. I feel bad for your mom, she’d be so disappointed
