Ngl I got so broke and depressed one time that I stopped drinking soda sugary drinks and eating like chips and candy and I dropped hella weight bc I was cooking my own meals and going on mental health walks
any weight loss tips? i’m 19 and really wanna better myself before I hit 20. Im 205 and 5’3. any motivational tips or advice would be really really appreciated <3

I mean I’d hope ppl would but back on those without being broke but I’m very happy for you! Sometimes tough times makes you realize a problem that was looping

But yeah I think cooking my own meals, trying to leave my apartment a couple times a day/mental health walks, and prioritizing Whole Foods helped a lot with my weight loss. Also just reducing added sugar in general but never restricting. Sometimes if I wanted something sweet I’d eat it anyway after a meal as a treat

Really all it can take is realizing what was causing really unhealthy habits and changing them. I was just saying I hope ppl being broke won’t be the reason they start changing I hope they’d do it with money or without
