People are allowed to ship what they want. The problem is that the author did a poor job of actually writing them together romantically, I don’t ship bkdk but OML they were obsessed with eachother. I understand why people interpreted it differently

It is definitely a form of love and I OP think they are platonic soulmates. However, I do wish that they went a bit more in depth with Deku and Ochako at times, I feel they didn’t get a lot of their own deep interaction. I loved the scene they just had but this is honestly the only memorable one that gave them real connection.

I feel like horikoshi just did a bad job developing the relationships in the series generally. This is the sort of thing that tends to happen when you have a recurring cast easily 60 strong and try to give all of them time at the 11th hour

Yeah so I’m op of the post that was quoted two posts ago, and I was referring to how the people who “ship in peace” sent the author and studio death threats for not changing the ending and made a big stink about it online
