How do you get motivated to actually write a story? I have an idea for two books and I love talking to people about them and building them, but I *hate* trying to write it

I like writing small scenes that get me excited to write the full thing. It counts as worldbuilding to me to have small scenes that include moments you really want and therefore this doesn’t fully feel like writing the story and therefore less daunting
