It’s not a bad idea, but unless you have a lot of followers already, be prepared for it to get very little traction as original work. This doesn’t mean anything about how good your writing is, but original work is a much harder sell on AO3

Double check me bc I’m not 100% but I think wattpad might have a bigger original works culture than ao3, so you could also cross post there

I did that! I ended up deleting it because I just let it gather dust once my writing binge wore off, but I got a few people to read it. I’d be willing to start a discord community on here to actually proofread people’s books though if people are interested!

then there’s no harm to it! You could also look for writing groups/discords in your area, people share lots of work in those
