Work backwards from the idea. How did they get into that situation? Then, how do they fix it or grow from it?

Just start writing!! Throw shit at the wall and see what sticks, you write in drafts for a reason. It’s really hard to edit a blank page

When I get stuck I think of someone in my life similar to the character and ask myself what would they do and go from there
