The best revenge is being the bigger person because then they realize how shitty what they did was

The best revenge is no revenge, heal, move on, and don’t become like those who hurt you. No revenge, because they needed the love you gave them, but you didn’t deserve what they did to you.

This. By treating people how they treated you you’re stooping to their level, and giving that person more mental energy. The best revenge is no revenge at all. Moving on and choosing forgiveness for your own sake is the play

I feel like ppl who say this about revenge or “I wouldn’t wish this one my worst enemy” haven’t been hurt enough to hate someone

It’s just people leaning into their better judgment. Hatred and wishing that much ill on someone, besides the occasional or joke or whatever because that’s different, doesn’t actually add anything to your life

Doesn’t take anything away either

Yes it does. You’re still giving mental energy and attachment to that person. Even if it’s negative you’re still showing through your thoughts and behaviors that they’re important and worth keeping around. Fixating on that negativity takes up space from more positive and productive thoughts, like gratefulness for the people you like and have in your life

Fuck that, choosing not to forgive isn’t the same as holding on to someone. It’s just acknowledging the damage and deciding that they don’t get a place in your life anymore, and wtf gives them the right to be forgiven??

If I hate them, I hate them and I genuinely will not think about them unless it gets brought up like “oh who hurt you like this” or if I ever see that mf again, like ik what ur saying but I am not giving any energy to a mf that I hate, and sometimes hating someone helps you, not everyone deserves forgiveness.

or maybe I’m not a shitty person who doesn’t wish anything on anyone else? I know how horrible I felt, why would I want someone to feel the same?

Because they hurt you😭? it not like they’re a saint, ur saying you wouldn’t wish the worst on hitler?? And before you say how that doesn’t connect or wtv, if you were the kind of ppl hitler condemned you’d forgive him?? Like no, fuck that, if someone does something wrong to you, hate em, if you don’t wanna hate on someone that’s fine, but do not make other people feel shitty about hating a mf
