Now that my adrenaline is running out can’t call pep a fraud. Realistically peps squad isn’t as strong as an arsenals. Havent replaced debruyne truthfully despite that being a huge ask. Rodri was out for a good amount of games. The semenyo and guehi additions are a big reason city is in the race. However, you do have to question why does pep only win when he has the strongest squad.

That’s what I’m saying bro. He can’t be in the greatest manager conversations with Mourinho. Mou would have won with anyone. Remember his time at United? Pep is just a splash money at everything merchant. His only champions league aside from a very strong Barca squad, didn’t come until almost 10 years later. He changed the game, I don’t doubt that, but it gets to a point where if you can only win when you have world class players in every position, then how great of a coach is he really?

Strongly agree, sorry for my first response was just over excited. For me he’s a great manager not the best but arguably the most innovative/ creative. However at the same time I think that kills him. He has a problem with overthinking. For example, I think he easily could’ve won the CL final in 2021 vs Chelsea. But to everyone’s shock he decided to start gundogan over Rodri. Just simple things like that.

He feels the need to be praised. I think that was Arteta’s problem but now he knows how to just get the job done. Congrats to Arsenal though.
