I disagree that it was a good call based on the rules because refereeing has always had nuance in it. VAR takes that away. It looks way worse in slow motion. Should never have been a red

plus there are constantly other challenges just like that that aren’t given red cards for. You can’t just decide to call one a red and none of the others reds
