I’m talking about newtons intelligence and knowledge, calling him not smart because if he was teleported to today he wouldn’t know shi . Science has changed as well

not to the same extent the skills of sports has, if he was teleported to today he would still be a scientist who could get a job being a scientist; on the other hand, if pele was teleported to today, he wouldn’t even be in the realm of soccer. newton still has all basic skills scientists need.

As smart as newton is, I feel like your massively overestimating his ability to adjust to the modern world in this scenario, realistically, it will take him a long time to adjust to modern society before he even gets a chance at becoming a scientist. both newton and pele would have a very hard time breaking through in their retrospective professions if they were teleported to the modern world without any warming. Modern era” is ridelous, obviously the game has evolved, it’s supposed to, it evolved thanks to players like pele changing the game, pele was dominant despite the little resources and knowledge of the game, i truthfully believe that if pele was reincarnated in the modern day with the same passion and talent for the beautiful game, that there is no doubt he wouldn’t be at least on track to becoming a professional
