I hate that when it is in the box, the rules are different. If that happens at midfield, it is a foul and nobody has any complaints.

You step on someone’s foot when you’re late to a tackle it’s a foul. Thats what happened there. He clearly steps on Eze’s right foot. It’s a penalty.

The entire games been physical and the refs let them play, a 50/50 in the box where the contact is via a toe poke doesn’t amend to a pen
