On the flipside of this though maybe the team will use tonight’s loss as motivation to play better against Bosnia. Like we got embarrassed the other day against Turkey we don’t want that to happen today against Bosnia. Ik tonight was meaningless but still
I get the outcome of this game is meaningless in terms of the standings but we win today we can carry a ton of momentum in the knockout stage. We aren’t playing with much urgency right now
No they don’t need motivation just fresh legs which they will have because they intentionally sat our 1st team

Yes I’m aware today’s result was meaningless in terms of the standings lol I’m just saying the team will be more inclined to say like we don’t want a repeat of the Turkey game today against Bosnia where it actually matters

The B team might say that, to which the A team will look down, rub their head, and say, “There are juice boxes in the fridge. We will take it from here.”

And what if someone on the A team gets injured lol someone on the B team will take their place hence they’ll use tonight’s loss as motivation

Injuries aren’t as frequent as you think unless there is a freak accident that said for players who will play ballpark 30 minutes I think they are serviceable against teams outside of the top ten

Be that as it may, injuries can happen anytime. Look at Altidore in 2014 against Ghana

Sure, I’m not saying they don’t happen, but for a team to lose all of their best players in one game is not at all likely. And honestly, if we lose one player to injury not named Florian, I honestly don’t think it’ll impact this team that much at all.
