Raphinha, Vitinha, Pedri, or Salah, all of them had more impact and had much better stats backing them up, literally all Dembele has is goals, but Raphinha has him beat

Since when has the Ballon D’or been “whoever wins the most trophies” award?? It’s the best player in a season. Raphinha had the highest G/A in Europes top 5 leagues, UCL top scorer, and performed in bigger games. Barcelona were literally not able to function without Pedri last season, thats how good he is at retaining possession, making crucial passes, and winning the ball back. Vitinha was crucial in both creativity and possession for PSG, Dembele would not be putting up the numbers he was

…without Vitinha. Salah had a fantastic season for Liverpool, absolutely carrying their attack.

If Barca weren’t able to function without Pedri then Raphina wouldn’t have had the amount of G/A he has so you can’t say Dembele played well only because of vitinha that doesn’t make sense

Fair point honestly 😭, but I also think that Vitinha and Pedri should have been 1 and 2. Going by attacker stats tho, Raphinha is just better overall and was more consistent

Stop glazing Vitinha I swear everyone’s hopping on the trend to call him this underrated vital great midfielder so much so that he’s overrated now. Pedri >> and I’d even take Neves over him in a team

Nah he’s not underrated, he’s at an elite level. But Pedri is clear, for me above any midfielder rn and it’s not even close
