Confirmation bias yo 😭 you have this preconceived notion that Arsenal as a whole are unbearable, due to everyone jumping on the hate train, and as such you adopt their viewpoints and are hypercritical of anything that anyone related to Arsenal does, whereas you wouldn’t do the same for other clubs. This bias leads to self validation regarding your opinions and further drives the cycle

If MY manager blamed the ball after a loss, I would have shame but I don’t think I’ve whiffed shame from you lot my entire time in this sport. You’re probably not all like this and it really sucks that the vocal majority is probably the sorriest group of fans I’ve seen in a hot minute.

Your replies just further prove my point. You are so deadset in your beliefs and passionately hate anything Arsenal that it genuinely borderlines obsession. Take the example you talked abt; Arteta talked abt the ball bc the reporters asked questions abt the ball. If you actually watch the interview he admits fault in terms of lack of preparation and says they need to do better. Ts is why critical literacy is so important, so u don’t just regurgitate everything u hear in your echo chambers online

Talk abt the pot calling the kettle black. The difference between you and me is that I can understand that we do have some annoying fans, the biggest being AFTV. The problem is you can’t acknowledge that you subconsciously slight Arsenal more for stupid takes rival fans also make regarding their teams, players, etc. You also can’t stand discourse/being challenged on your viewpoint; immediately jumping to saying that ppl defending Arsenal are playing victim.

I lied, I decided to read this one. My personal opinion is that there are stupid annoying people in every fanbase, but most of the those the fans hate. Liverpool fans hate anfield agenda and Johnathan Morley. Nayeemutd’s followers are most likely rival fans. Most Chelsea fans I meet dislike young kippa or don’t take him seriously. But every silly Arsenal account I see not pushback. There is literally an Arsenal account posing as a Fulham account and they just ignore it

It’s half and half in terms of support really for all the creators you mentioned. An example for Arsenal as well is Lee gunner. Dude is so negative all the time and rival fans love him for it. AFTV is the classic stupid clickbait fan group that gives us a bad look. I mean seriously they tried to blame the rain and the queen dying ffs. But there are bigger creators that actually don’t act delusional. There’s multiple instances of rival fans also posing as Arsenal fans and spewing horrid takes
