
I’m someone who is both still being mentored by older more experienced employees and sometimes trains newer (usually younger) employees. One thing I’ve realized is when I train, I don’t know what level of understanding is. So I tell them up front to lmk if they already know something but I also explain EVERYTHING so they don’t miss something because I didn’t tell them.
