Two employees get in a fight at work, and I get told to fire the daughter of the one that didn’t start the fight, who wasn’t even at work, and when I say I won’t, he says fire all the part time employees. Like dude that’s unethical as fuck.
Pretty sure with a good lawyer it’s also illegal. I’d say that falls under retribution which is legally protected against

Oh yeah if I find out that happens, because it’s the HR director that wants us to do it not the HR manager, I’m whistle blowing for sure. It’s going on my exit interview paperwork when I leave regardless.
