No cause this kills me every time. Credit cards have been around since the 50s, the particular machines used in 99% of stores have been around at least a decade and you STILL don’t know how to work a credit card machine? ATP it’s weaponized incompetence because there’s no way people who’ve had a card since 1987 don’t know how to use it.

My favorite is when they tap it multiple times and I say “you can just hold it there” and they just continue tapping

i fully agree. i could understand if you can’t see well enough to read the screen or you can’t hear the beep but ts is ridiculous

i work at the DMV so thankfully we don’t have tap. w all the older ppl that come through that would double the wait time 🥲
