I volunteer w a nonprofit and the rest of the team wouldn't let me throw away expired tampons 😭 we have hundreds of boxes that aren't expired why would we try to give away expired tampons to homeless people

it takes about 5 years unless they're stored somewhere with higher humidity but they can catch moisture from their surroundings through the packaging and get moldy.
