So for my job, I interview a bunch of candidates. Today was probably one of the worst candidates I’ve had. As a PSA, don’t EVER end the interview asking the interviewer “How did you think I did?” I was trying so hard to not drop my jaw lol

Wait I honestly don’t think that’s bad? Maybe wait until after you don’t get the job to ask for feedback from the recruiter but if it’s their first job…

Um no, genuinely do not ask that, before or after hearing a decision. I guarantee the recruiter/interviewer will be more likely to reject you. You will just be shooting your self in the foot If you feel compelled to ask how you did in an interview, then you should be attending mock job interviews with an organization that helps job seekers. They are more equipped to providing actual constructive feedback and you don’t risk actually losing a job offer.

No chance they were your candidate before they asked anyway?

I was hesitant but not a no until he asked that. It just shows a level of not understanding the dynamic in a professional environment that he wasn’t ready for and that’s okay. Just not a good fit
