like what is it about me that people get turned off by. why do you not think i’ll be a good fit. i hate just hearing “we’re not moving forward with you we had a big pool of other applicants” blah blah blah. zero feedback and complete disappointment.

Ai filters a lot of resumes out of the stack because it’s looking for very specific keywords, so it could be that. A lot of job listings are fake too, just put out to make the company look like they are growing when there’s no intent of actually hiring anyone

To piggy back off this, some companies are required to post job listings even when they already intend to hire internally. In some cases, they go as far as interviewing external candidates despite having no real interest in them. It’s a really flawed system unfortunately

tbf it was at a college campus with a live in apartment perk so i’m sure it was a popular offer. i’m just tired of feeling like i have good work to give and being ignored or not given a chance to even talk about it. i wasn’t even given a phone call. and i hate the whole “masters preferred” but not required part cuz that basically means they want a masters degree. and i can’t afford that rn because the government doesn’t give aid to those who pursue even higher education.
