Fake weed carts can taste peppery due to cheap synthetic terpenes, contaminants, or cutting agents. This causes a harsh, spicy, chemical taste and throat irritation. Strong pepper taste = Stop using it & stay safe.

Exactly why you should only ever buy from licensed dispensaries and request the test results from whatever product you bought

Some black-market carts use cutting agents like vitamin E acetate, pine rosin, or unknown thickeners to dilute THC oil. These can be dangerous when inhaled

Most dealers don’t even know a cart is fake!Black-market carts are often mixed in with legit ones, so they sell both without realizing. This makes it risky, since even “trusted” sources can have bad carts mixed in.

Pepper come from the terpen β-Caryophyllene, same terps you get from black pepper itself. So spicy peppery etc are not signs of synthetic or contaminants

Yes, some terpenes like β-caryophyllene naturally taste peppery. In legit carts, it’s mild and herbal. In fake carts, cheap synthetic or unbalanced terpene mixes make the peppery taste harsh, overpowering, and unpleasant.
