you should be grandfathered in. you signed a contact when you enrolled, they don’t get to change your price or your plan for graduation

it’s of contracts have illegal statutes and get thrown out if taken to court….. i’m not saying that’s illegal but….. contracts aren’t as cut and dry as you think

Unfortunately grandfathering isn’t that common only about 5-10% of colleges in the US do it. Many schools allow tuition to be raised as much as they want and don’t gaf about the students who previously went there. But it does depend on the state though because places like Illinois have truth tuition laws which require them to lock prices.

I’m so glad my uni lets us keep the tuition we started with they’ve upped it so much since my freshman year. A full scholarship is amazing tho 😭
