i think they were just agreeing with your general point but making a side comment (primarily in a joking way ) to insert their opposing opinion. i don't think it was about smokers vs non just that they like it

To be fair just smoke out a window lile real close and you’ll never smell especially wit a tap of cologne after but most people don’t do or have access to do as such

you can tell yourself that lol but you still will smell. that’s how i smoke. you become nose blind immediately but others can tell

My family ain’t nose blind and they greatly dislike the smell and they tell me when I smell which is very rarely and normally aftee smoking a joint in my room without window
