This should only be partially true, any type of oil can be good wether it’s distillate or live rosin. Pens offer a high thc percentage, good flavor, and the convenience factor, but to say that that’s their only purpose is simply untrue. You must be buying some very shitty pens if that’s the case. And the reason you pay more is because a gram of oil takes more than a gram of bud to make so obviously you’re going to be paying more for an objectively superior product
