From what ive been told such things are only considered indicitive of an illnesss if they take the form of actual hallucinations that are indistinguishable from reality. What im writing of now are just on the thoughts. Like if you imagine an apple theres kind of like a picture in your head? Thats what im getting just way more extreme than sober and I dont get them as much now that I have tolerance. The only person ive talked to who had this was my mom.
I experience this as well, but I’m also Autistic and have hyperphantasia at baseline—although it’s significantly “stronger” after smoking. OP isn’t talking about hallucinations or delusions, just incredibly vivid mental images (almost like daydreams). It would only be a cause for concern if they were experiencing delusions, hallucinations, persistent paranoia and ideas of reference while high/after smoking.
