This means that the entire world except for China, Korea, Japan, and some native american groups use a writing system that ultimately developed from earlier Egyptian hieroglyphs, which itself was influenced by sumerian cuneiform (though its derivatives fell out of use thousands of years ago)

Sanskrit may be close in age, same with Aramaic language like arabic and hebrew, the archaic versions

I dont mean the languages themselves I mean the written script for those languages. Like English isnt related to egyptian at all but our latin script is cause it derives from greek, which came from phonecian, which came from hieroglyphic
