I’m like 2 weeks into a break from weed I’m taking. Trying to go til august without, but I’m so tense all the time. I’m wondering if there’s anything you guys recommend trying to help me chill out sans thc.

try meditating a little each day. it might be hard at first and like it doesn’t do anything, but the more you do it the more you train yourself to fully relax

I went from basically 24/7 smoking and took like a month break to now only weekend nights with some friends. It’s really hard the first 2 weeks especially, but try keeping yourself busy and remember the reasons why you’re taking a break. But keeping busy really helps so it’s not all you’re thinking about.

Just drink a lot of water and distract yourself with other stuff(currently 50 days in we got this)

You’re so right about the keeping busy part, I’m fine at work and school. It’s just that when I go to relax, I can’t, you know?

Completely agree. The grounding state I get from meditation feels very similar to the one I often get from good weed

if you’d like any recommendations, wim hof has a guided breathing session on youtube that feels great, especially first thing in the morning. and for more of a traditional meditation, the headspace app has some good guided meditations
