91% isopropyl alcohol and epsom salt. Let soak at least overnight, then shake real good. Finally rinse out with hot water until all the salt and alc are gone. I’ve also used baking soda and vinegar with pretty good results as well

Couple of notes: any salt will work i just find epsom salt to work the best. And one time there was a bunch of black shit that wouldn’t come off after multiple 3+ day soaks with alc + salt, that’s when i got desperate enough to try baking soda + vinegar and it worked surprisingly well. Got all the black shit off, idk if the bubbles from the chemical reaction were able to get underneath the stuff or what but it also shot all the mixture up through the other percolators and got little chunks out
